Soccer

This is what we do in our spare time:

WATCH SOCCER or
PLAY SOCCER or
DRIVE TO SOCCER or
THINK ABOUT SOCCER.

That doesn't leave much time for cooking, cleaning, laundry, or dishes. That also explains why my house is always a mess. I'm grateful for the talk in conference that talked about the piles of laundry. I really needed to hear that other things are more important than making sure my house is spotless. We actually live in our house and it looks it!!!!

The Zoo

Some days I feel like I live in the zoo, but a couple of weeks ago we went to the Hogle Zoo. It was nice to get away and just be together having fun. Our favorite was the baby elephant. Baby Zuri turned 1 the following week. We loved the bird show also. We had really good seats and the birds swooped right over our heads.

A Surprise for Us.....

Jordan gave herself a birthday present and came home this weekend. I still can't believe that she turned 20 yesterday. She has grown up so quickly. I am really grateful for her in my life. It is fun to chat with her about the things that she is doing in Maryland. I am glad that she is having these experiences and seeing what life is all about outside of Utah and without the securities of home. She is truly growing up and finding herself which is something we all have to do in life. We all want our children to grow up and become individuals who will make good choices in life, especially when we aren't there. It makes me happy to know that she is learning to rely on her Heavenly Father and strengthening her relationship with her Savior. I couldn't be more proud of who she has become and where she is headed. I really love you, Jordan.
All of us together.
All my girls. They're pretty cute!!!!

Summer Activities

Swimming Lessons:
Trevor

Blake

McKenzie

Dakota
She isn't old enough for lessons yet because she isn't potty trained, but hopefully next year because she puts her swimming soup (that's what she calls it) on every day and sometimes even sleeps in it. She just loves swimming.

Silly Kid, Staples are for Paper

So, Sunday the 25th the kids are playing downstairs and Dakota ends up pushing Blake over and he hits his head on the ping pong table. This is what he looked like:
